The last year and a half has been an incredible time for me. I had the privilege of acting in several plays in various local theaters, and enjoyed every minute of it! However, life is always moving forward, and I am now proud to announce that my next role will be as a mom! I'm currently pregnant with my first child, due in August. I can't even begin to describe the emotions of this new experience, but overall it has been so happy and positive, and I have managed to stay healthy.

What does this mean for my career? Probably something similar to what moving out of Los Angeles meant. It's changing. One of the best things about the entertainment industry is there is no single correct path. My career is what I make of it. Just as it looks different than it did in Los Angeles, it will look different with the added responsibilities of parenthood. But I think I'm up for the challenge!

This November I will be playing Yvette in the stage version of the cult classic film Clue. I'm excited to be participating in this fun evening of mystery and laughs for the whole family! I'm so excited to announce that I'm playing Desdemona in Paula Vogel's Desdemona: a play about a handkerchief, produced by Fringe Theatre at the Gem Center for the Arts in Boise, Idaho. This is an amazing work, that touches on a lot of themes that are really important to me.

If you're in the Boise area, come and see this fantastic, hilarious, thoughtful show. Performances are running April 5 through 14.

We are officially in pre-production on the short film I wrote, Ophelia. I am producing and starring in this dramatic exploration of the classic Shakespeare character's descent into madness. We are shooting a trailer for proof-of-concept and fundraising. Watch this space for more updates on this special project!

I have been booked as "Rena," a supporting character in the short film Southpaw Samurai from Toymaker Pictures. I'm excited to be working with my good friend, writer and director Joseph Torrez on another great project! The movie is an action extravaganza, and I play the no-nonsense surgeon who has to put everyone back together after their crazy battles.

I will be playing the role of "Sheila" in the new play, The Last Men on Earth at Zombie Joe's Underground Theatre in North Hollywood, One Night Only, June 17! It's a hysterically funny new comedy written by noted Los Angeles Playwright Richard Nathan and is part of the ZJU's 3rd Annual Underground Summer Fringe Festival. The last two men on Earth ineptly search for a woman to begin repopulating the human race, but quickly realize courtship is not any easier even with less competition!
